• RESERVATION CONFIRMATION: A 50% deposit (non-refundable) confirms your reservation. The remaining balance is due no later than 5 days before check-in.

• SECURITY DEPOSIT: A refundable security deposit of 500,000 COP is required for your stay and will be returned the same day as check-out, provided no damages are found. If the house is left excessively messy, a 150,000 COP cleaning fee will be deducted from the deposit before the balance is returned.

• CANCELLATION: Deposits are non-refundable. Reservations may instead be rescheduled, up to 90 days from the original check-in date.

• NO-SHOW POLICY: Guests who don't arrive on the scheduled check-in date forfeit the reservation — no refund or credit will be issued.

• Casa de los Sueños is not responsible for travel interruptions — weather, natural disasters, pandemics, airline issues, booking errors, illness, or other changes in plans.

• PET POLICY: Dogs only, max 2 per room. Please notify us ahead of time, clean up after your pet, and keep barking to a minimum. Owners are responsible for any pet-related damage; excessive mess may incur a cleaning fee.

• REGISTERED GUESTS: Only guests registered with Casa de los Sueños may stay on the property. Unregistered guests will be charged.

• QUIET HOURS: 10 PM–8 AM, unless arranged otherwise for a special event.

• PARKING: Limited, first-come first-served. Casa de los Sueños is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or their contents.

• SECURITY: Cameras operate throughout the property; anyone on-site may be recorded.

• PRIVACY: Information collected at booking is used for reservations, billing, and marketing, per our privacy policy.

• DAMAGES: Casa de los Sueños and its owners/staff are not liable for lost or stolen items, or for personal injury or death.

• AMENDMENTS: These terms may be updated at any time without notice.

• NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY: No lifeguard is on duty — guests swim at their own risk. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area at all times.

• POOL RULES & WAIVER of LIABILITY: No running, diving, or horseplay in or around the pool. No glass or alcohol poolside. Proper swimwear required, and guests must shower before entering. Anyone with a health condition should consult a doctor before swimming or heat exposure. Pets are not permitted in the pool area. In an emergency, call 123 and notify Casa de los Sueños staff. Pool use outside designated hours is strictly prohibited. By using the pool, guests accept the inherent risks of swimming and take full responsibility for their own safety and that of any minors or dependents in their care; Casa de los Sueños is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or deaths occurring in or around the pool area.

• HEALTH & SAFETY: Guests with health conditions (e.g., heart conditions, epilepsy) that could be worsened by swimming or heat exposure should consult a doctor first. Casa de los Sueños is not responsible for any resulting health issues or injuries.

• PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY: Parents/guardians are fully responsible for their children's safety and behavior in the pool area.

• REPORTING HAZARDS: Please report unsafe conditions, broken equipment, or other hazards to staff right away — we'll address them promptly.

• POOL HOURS: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM.

• MINORS: Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and may not be left unattended.

• MINIMUM AGE FOR BOOKING:
Guests must be 21 or older to book at Casa de los Sueños. A valid photo ID is required at check-in for verification.

• CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check-in from 3:00 PM; check-out by 11:00 AM.

• LATE CHECKOUT: Subject to availability. Without approval, late checkout may result in an additional night's charge.

• ROOM CLEANING: Need fresh towels or linens? Contact Juan David, who lives on-site.

• CHECK-OUT TIDINESS: Before you leave, please bring all towels back downstairs, clear cans, bottles, and other trash into the large trash can or one of the smaller bins, and return all plates, cups, and dishes to the kitchen. Please don't leave trash or dishes by the pool or outdoor kitchen. Leaving the house excessively messy will result in a 150,000 COP cleaning fee deducted from your security deposit.

• CONDUCT: Guests must be respectful and avoid disturbing others. Excessive noise or disruptive behavior may result in eviction without refund, and Casa de los Sueños reserves the right to refuse service or end a stay for inappropriate behavior.

• SMOKING: Casa de los Sueños is smoke-free. Smoking in your room results in a 100,000 COP charge plus the cost of any damage.

• OUTSIDE VENDORS: Outside vendors (massage therapists, tour operators, chefs, hair/makeup artists, photographers, etc.) must be approved by Casa de los Sueños before providing services on-site. Guests may still use vendors of their choice at the vendors' own locations.

• DAMAGES AND LOSSES: Guests are responsible for any damage or loss to the property during their stay, including rooms, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment, and will be charged the full repair or replacement cost beyond the security deposit (see Security Deposit)

• ACCIDENTAL DAMAGES: Please tell us right away if you accidentally damage anything — prompt reporting helps limit extra costs.

• DELIBERATE DAMAGES: Deliberate damage will be reported to local authorities, and the responsible guest is liable for all associated costs, including legal fees.

• LOSS OF REVENUE: If guest-caused damage makes a room unavailable for other guests, the responsible guest will be charged for the lost revenue for as long as the room is out of service.

• PERSONAL BELONGINGS: Casa de los Sueños is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen personal belongings — please take care of your valuables (there are two safes on the premises).

• FIRE PIT SAFETY AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY: The fire pit is reserved for registered guests. Fires must be attended at all times and fully extinguished before leaving the area. Use is at the guest's own risk — Casa de los Sueños is not liable for any injuries, accidents, deaths, or property damage related to fire pit use. Minors under 18 must be supervised by an adult. No horseplay, thrown objects, or flammable liquids near the fire. Keep a safe distance, and keep furniture and belongings clear of it. Fire pit hours: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM daily.

• NATURAL DISASTERS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS: Casa de los Sueños is not responsible for loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by natural disasters, acts of God, or other events beyond its control (e.g., power outages, severe weather, or government actions). We'll make reasonable efforts to assist guests but cannot guarantee refunds or compensation.

• THIRD-PARTY SERVICES: Casa de los Sueños may recommend or arrange third-party services (e.g., tours, transportation). These are offered independently, and Casa de los Sueños is not liable for any issues arising from their use.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Casa de los Sueños' total liability for any claim arising from a guest's stay will not exceed the amount paid for that stay, and excludes indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
